Creative, Jesmonite Workshops

Many people claim, "I'm not a creative person," but get ready to change that mindset! Aana Design's mindful making workshops will have you diving into color and pattern, unleashing your creative spirit you never knew was inside of you!

What Is Jesmonite?

Jesmonite, also known as an eco-resin, is a part natural mineral and part acrylic. It's non-toxic, eco-friendly and a durable material. I have been creating jewellery and homeware with this material since 2019 and the results will always surprise you. No two pieces are ever the same!

What to expect in a Jesmonite workshop

In this approximately 2.5 hour workshop, I will lead you through the fun process of making your very own homeware piece to take home and cherish forever! You don't need to be a 'creative' person; all you need is some enthusiasm and be ready to have some fun and I promise you will surprise yourself.

I'll demo some pour styles, taking you through how the material and pigments work before setting off to your stations where you will create your very own piece in the colours and pour styles of your choice with my guidance. No pattern will ever be duplicated so you will take home a truly unique item for your home (or gift it to someone you love!).

Book your private workshop for up to 5 people, giving you 100% of my attention and guidance and the best experience possible!

All equipment, gloves and aprons will be provided, along with snacks and refreshments! All you need to bring is your lovely self, perhaps some lunch and don't wear anything too fancy (although aprons will be provided, you don't want to risk staining your clothes).

We will demould our pieces, revealing stunning and unique results! I will keep your work for a few days to sand away any sharp edges and protect them with a sealer. (We don't complete this step in class, as Jesmonite needs 24 - 48 hours to fully cure before being sanded & sealed). I will then post your items out to you 2nd class (sanding, sealing & postage is covered in your cost).

If you decide you are having too much fun, you are more than welcome to make another piece! I have a variety of items from trays, to trinket dishes to cute ornaments of bud vases. Prices start from £7.
